Just a thank you to everyone for one of the best Blue and Gold’s I’ve seen. Thanks to Gayle and Becky for all their hard work planning and coordinating. Thanks to all the volunteers that showed up on Saturday to set up tables and blow up balloons. Thanks to Paul for being our stand-in auctioneer and emcee. Thanks to all the generous families that opened up their wallets and hearts for our cause. And finally thanks to all the moms (and dads) that spent time with their boys baking and decorating cakes, because that family time you spend with them is what this is all about. Gayle, you have done a wonderful job for us with Blue and Gold over the years. We’ll be sad to see you crossover in May! Thank you so much!

Car kits and rulebooks for the 2010 Pinewood Derby will be distributed Saturday at Blue and Gold. If are not planning on attending Blue and Gold, your kit and rulebook will be given to your den leader. Make sure that you arrange a time with your leader to get your car kit and rule book.

There are no changes in rules between this year and last year, however new rule books will be distributed with each kit in case you don’t have yours from last year. Hope everyone is buttoning down final touches on their cakes! Should be a great time had by all. We are still in need of volunteers for set up and tear down. If interested in helping please be at the church on Saturday at 1:00 to help set up. See you there!!
