Whew! Another Fall Campout is in the books, and while it was cold one, it seems all had a good time. A huge thank you to all those that pitched in and helped. Seems we had a lot of new faces jumping in and working, and that is great. It seems I didn’t get as many photos as I would have liked to, but those I took are below.

Last night the asst. CM and I made our pre campout run to the grocery. We managed to fill two carts full of chili ingredients, cobbler ingredients drinks and other supplies. We will be making a whopping 60 quarts of chili on Saturday! There is still about one more cart load of items to be picked up prior to camp including breakfast items and breads and salad.

With popcorn sales coming to a close, it can only mean that the fun is about to start! And that means camping! The Pack 371 Annual Fall Campout is November 6-7 at Harmonie State Park For information on the campout and to get answers for your camping questions, see the links below. See you there!

This evening the Bear Den met at a new home location in the Shadewood community to learn about the Habitat for Humanity program and to do a little community service. The boys worked hard cleaning up the job site, picking up trash and scrap materials for the builders. Then each of them signed a message on the insulation on the wall interior that will be blessing to the new residents forever.

The Scouts of Pack 371 once again brought home the Cub Scout Field Day Spirit Stick. We are very proud of all our boys for showing such great Cub Scout Spirit. Thank you to all that participated!

This past Saturday our scouts had the privilege of marching our colors down Franklin Street in the annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival Parade. Big thanks to those boys that participated and to the parents for bringing them out on a wonderful fall evening!
