2012 Spring Campout at Harmonie
What: It’s camp out time at Harmonie again! Join us for a day of fun outdoor activities including hiking, bicycle riding, and more! Scouts will also get to prepare food, participate in skits and hear campfire stories over s’mores in the evening. And even tell a story of their own if they wish! It will be a good time had by all, so don’t miss it!
When: June 9, 2012. Opening ceremony begins at 1:00 PM. Please arrive early enough
that your son can be in Class “A” Uniform, and at the canopies at 1:00.
Where: Harmonie State Park, Electric Campground, Area 5, Sites 167-200.
Who: Scouts, and scout families are welcome. And of course, tags (scout siblings) are always welcome as well. All scouts should have a parent in attendance for overnight camp outs.
Reservations:
Peak Season (March through October) Make your reservations early. You can do so online at http://indianastateparks.reserveamerica.com/ . Make sure to get a site in the Electric Campground Area 5 Sites 167-200.
After October 31st, sites are first come first serve, bring cash and pay when you arrive.
Fees: Camping: The campsite fee is around $25.50 per night (2 night minimum during peak season), which you will pay directly to Harmonie State Park at the gate. You may have up to two tents or one camper and one tent, and six people on your site, if you wish to double up with friends to save money.
Food: The Pack and the Scouts will be preparing a dinner Saturday evening, and breakfast Sunday morning. The fee for meals is $7 for adults and $4 for tags (12 and under). Scouts and registered leaders are free. This fee includes both of the meals, and must be paid at Dinner Saturday Night. Please either bring a check or exact change. It is difficult to make change for everyone at camp.
PLEASE RSVP We’d like to know how many are going to be in your party so we can make sure we have the proper amount of food for dinner and breakfast. Give your RSVP to your Den Leader or to the Cubmaster.
